ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

This is a costume project for Catherine of Aragon from the British musical “SIX” by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow as part of my Master’s thesis defence from the National Academy of Art

The main focus of this design was the modern interpretation of the costume and armor from the Spanish renaissance. By wet forming 3mm leather and heat forming termoplastic, I aimed to achieve a geometrized armored dress, inspired by modern pop cultural phenomenona such as Vocaloid.
